VIRTUOUS
NAME: Hermann Villiers
AGE: 24
BIRTHDAY: December 5
GENDER: Male
DESCRIPTION: The first thing people notice about Hermann is his long, silver hair. From behind, excluding the clothing he wears and the amazingly straight posture he stands in, he could pass for an old man. Only once was he ever mistaken for one, but it could happen. After all, what sort of person has hair like that? If it was shorter, it would make sense for it to be dyed, or perhaps he has a thing for wearing funny colored wigs. It is actually none of the above. He has a genetic defect that causes premature gray hair. A lot of people with this defect, especially of the female persuasion, tend to dislike it. They find themselves to be too old looking. He thinks its edgy. It makes him look more mature and dignified. So he kept it and let it grow and grow till it reached his waist, and then all of his original, beautiful black hair faded completely. He does not look old at all by it. He is tall and strong with very noticeable muscle all over his body. Keeping himself in top physical condition is one of his main priorities. There is also a light to his stormy gray eyes that speaks of the fire and life that he will not use up anytime soon. Hermann is often found accentuating his tough guy look with black trench coats, razor sharp jackets, and plenty of leather. Now, on another hand, when he gets up in the morning and has nothing to do in the day, he is perfectly content wearing nothing but his boxers and a hoodie to lounge around the house in.
PERSONALITY: This lazy, bug-in-a-rug lies about his house in the morning on his bed or the couch like he was dropped there and left to melt. Hard to believe he is a hard working go-getter the rest of the day and night. He makes decisions to do great things, and his determination sees him through all the rough patches. Though he likes to believe that he is very strict, it usually relates to himself. He is pretty laid back about things. He can tolerate the usual day-to-day rough stuff, insults, problems, etc. Hermann is easily impressed by people. It does not take a lot to get in his good graces or up on pedestals. He does not outright worship people though. Hermann tends to live life in the fast lane. It comes from being a very popular racer. But he also lives it just a tad bit literally. Soon as the midmorning or afternoon rolls around, he is go, go, go and don't stop till you drop. He is always high energy till morning, so he uses that energy as much as he can.
STRENGTHS: If there is one thing that Hermann is known for, it's his motorcycle racing. That is why his name might sound familiar to a lot of people. But next to that, he is actually quite the admirable person. He is sympathetic to people's problems and is always there to listen. He genuinely cares about people, even people he does not know all that well. He will happily take time out of his day to talk to someone. He keeps himself humble rather than let fame and his moderate fortune go all to his head. He is the sort of person who would happily treat out all the homeless people in the town to a week of free meals. He is very sympathetic to the world's problems. Not as in oil crisis and economic struggle, but things like orphans, starvation, the homeless: those types of problems. He uses his surplus of wealth to help kids around the world by donating money to the right organizations to get schools built, families on their feet, relief to destroyed areas, etc. He refuses to live as much of the rich lifestyle as possible in order to ensure that these people get what they need. He does not do it for publicity. Not at all. In fact, very few people know this about him. He doesn't like tons of attention or tooting his own horn. He wants to be a humble, reliable person rather than just another pretty face who puts on a show to make themselves look better to the public. But sitting at home and just clicking around online to make payments is not enough for Hermann. He felt he needed to take an active part in the world when it came to helping out the less fortunate, and he found a rather active way to do it. With motorcycle skills in handy, he dons a tinted helmet and rides off into the night as a notorious bounty hunter. Now don't jump to conclusions! He is not in this for money, and therefore is perfectly fine with turning down any and all offers to go after the innocent. In fact, the people who make such offers usually find themselves on the receiving end of his vengeance. He will only target the criminals, wether they be human traffickers or cutthroat businessmen. Only the really scummy that he knows will weasel their way out of a sentence does he kill. The majority he will turn in to the police. They resent the fact that he has done their work for them, but they also are thankful for the things he does that they can't even touch. So, on occasion, he has hired himself to them to retrieve intel or incriminating evidence against criminals that the police cannot get themselves. He has something of a cat burglar's finesse when it comes to breaking and entering and leaving without a trace.
WEAKNESSES: Though Hermann is the idol of many people of all sorts, he is by no means perfect or worthy of everyone's undivided love and worship. From a bad drug addiction to his short fuse of a temper, he has been known at times to be one nasty individual. Though this side is mostly in the dark, those close to him are aware and often worry that sometimes he takes things too far. He cannot get off the drugs, even though he was in rehab twice. Usually his return to drugs ends up being worse for him than if they had just left him in the beginning. He tends to get shaky and irritable when he has not had a fix in a while, hence the bad temper. Though he can bottle up most of his aggressions and let them out on the racetrack, he is very edgy when at his low points. He hates withdrawal with a passion and often freaks out when he starts experiencing symptoms of it. Even if he gets nauseas or headachy from some other cause, he will probably turn to his drugs first before anything else. Hermann is also known to be rather reckless. He likes the rush of adrenalin, which is another high for him, and so he takes part on lots of stupid, daredevil stunts just to feel the heart race and the familiar hormone blast through his system. But the problem is that he just keeps pushing the limits with what he does. Things go from scary fun to dangerous behavior and sometimes serious injury. And not always to himself. He has put a few people in the hospital from stupid stunts, and he regrets that more than anything, but not enough to stop apparently. He has calmed down somewhat, but not all the way. It probably comes from his tendency to let things slide that he probably shouldn't. Either he downplays situations or just does not care, but what he does not take seriously tends to, and usually will, come back to bite him later on. Such as his possessive obsession with people. He tends not to have many friends, at least not for long. The smart ones keep their distance and are always aware and alert when around him since he has a rather clingy nature that compels him to hover and micromanage. He is not aware that he does this, and even if it was brought up, he would simply deny doing it. He thinks he is just trying to help the person, when really, he is being rather controlling.
HISTORY: Hermann Villiers as born and raised by his single father in a large city in München, Germany. His father was a very shrewd businessman who used blackmail and sabotage to walk all over people to get to the top of the world. And from there, he sat and ruled. Hermann never knew his mother. She was a cliche office affair that his father had. His father's wife found out and left him. The woman dumped Hermann on the man's doorstep with a rather venomous note about how she failed to abort him, so he could be left to raise the little parasite. Hermann was probably the only thing his father ever loved, even though his father had the strangest ay of showing it. Hermann was spoiled terribly as a child, but he never liked it. Other children hated him or ignored him because of who he was. And adults treated him strangely too since they knew who his father was. Hermann tried to be nice by sharing or giving things to people. But hardly anyone cared. A few used him for his money and things, and Hermann latched onto them like a barnacle to a ship's hull, because they were the only ones who paid attention to him. Suffice to say, Hermann was a very lonely soul. His life changed drastically one day. His father was making a trip to Hong Kong, but the plane was delayed in New Dehli, India. Hermann had been brought along for no particular reason. At least not on he can remember being important. But while they waited in the airport, he got sidetracked or distracted or something. When he looked up and around him, he was lost. A strange man started yelling at Hermann. Hermann tried telling the man he couldn't speak the language, but the man did not seem to care. Hermann ran away and the man ran after him. Th man chased him out of the airport and through several streets. Hermann managed to hide behind a pile of crates, and he hid there for hours. Hunger finally drove him out, and now he was truly and completely lost. For good. He wandered around and begged off the streets for weeks before being taken in by an orphanage. He lived in India for several years. And while he lived there, he learned how to ride a motorcycle. It became his favorite thing to do. He hired himself out to a motorcycle shop owner and learned everything he could about motorcycles. He would repair them, test drive them, disassemble and reassemble them. When he was fifteen, an off-duty police officer on vacation was checking out the shop, when he saw Hermann. The cop did some research and found Hermann's pictures and information on multiple missing persons' sites. Hermann's father showed up at the shop one day, but it was not a happy reunion. Hermann was content to live in India as a bike shop owner for life, but his father would not hear of it. He forced Hermann to return to Germany with him. But even still, Hermann never accepted his return life. Gone was the complacent boy of his past youth. He was different now, hardened by the streets and brightened by the labors and experiences he had made in India. And his love for motorcycles never faded either. He found a track not too far from home. He went there everyday and eventually got a job keeping up the maintenance on the racers' bikes. When no one was around, he raced them on the track. One of the racers did see him one night and was fairly impressed. With a few words from him, Hermann was launched into the racer's world and rose up the ranks to become one of the top three bikers in all of Germany, eventually Europe, and then on to win internationally. His father never approved, but Hermann all but abandoned the man who raised him to go live his own life. He was only sixteen when he made that decision, but it was one of the best he ever made. Now he lives in Bayfael, still racing, still living his life, but never forgetting what it took to get him there.
